Good Morning Florie,
We pretty much agree on what we have on Susan's family. The stones that I have in my records all spell their name as Gibbens. I know the 1880 census in Plymouth County, Iowa lists George as being born in England but the one in New Boston, Mercer County, IL in 1860 states he was born in PA. The census in 1880 is under "Givvens". (A slip of the keys on the typewriter I would guess)
It looks like in the children's census (after they were married) they list their father as being born in England. I'm using England in my records with the mention of the 1860 census. I can't find the family in 1870.
