• Notes

  According to Frances Strong Helman, this family lived very close to the little village of Strongstown. At some point something went wrong between the husband and wife, and Andrew deeded their property to Sarah, with Jacob Strong, his brother-in-law, holding the property in trust. This couple had only one child. Another aunt asserted that the McCagues left with Jacob Strong and later went to Minnesota.
